Being the area’s premier provider of custom, high-end landscapes has not only attracted great clients, it’s also attracted great talent. Shane joined the Rice’s family nearly 15 years ago after graduating from The Ohio State University. He spent his first years here as a crew member and leader, eventually working his way to his current role.

Today, Shane is a talented landscape designer who loves helping his clients realize all the potential their landscape has to offer. Whether he’s designing an award-winning patio space or partnering with clients to help make those big design decisions along the way, Shane brings professionalism, creativity, and quality to every job he touches. And we’re not the only one to notice! Shane was recently featured in Landscape Ohio Magazine, distributed quarterly by the Ohio Landscape Association. When not visiting clients and managing projects, Shane spends his time outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping, or coaching his oldest daughter’s softball team all have top priority on his list, though Shane’s favorite time is spent with his wife, Tia, and their three girls, Emma, Aleeya, and Faith.
