For Bryan Rice, landscaping is a family business. Having worked at Rice’s throughout high school and college, he officially joined the business in 1988, after graduating from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in landscape horticulture. Now, as president, Bryan leads the company’s daily business operations, while motivating his team to strive for success by delivering exceptional customer service.

As vice president and registered landscape architect, Kevin Rice helps clients turn their landscape dreams into reality. Kevin joined the family business full-time in 1993. With a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Rice’s leadership team. In his role, Kevin helps clients to realize their full landscape potential and develop sustainable solutions.

Mike Greaves became part of the Rice’s team in 2009 as Operations Manager. In his role, he monitors budgets and financial targets, as well as assists with employee development, production and sales. His favorite part of his role is on the relationship side, and likes to work with Rice’s team members to help them achieve their career goals.

Shane Boyce joined the Rice’s team in 2005. As a landscape designer, he cultivates partnerships with clients to create beautiful and functional outdoor living spaces. With an associate’s degree in landscape contracting and construction and a bachelor’s degree in landscape horticulture, Shane has deep understanding of the industry. In his daily work, he strives to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.

Jennifer Rose-Ames joined the Rice’s team in 2010. As relationship and office manager, she leads the Rice’s team in employee recruitment and retention. With an associate’s degree in business management from Stark State College, Jennifer has strong organizational skills and an extensive background in office management. She always brings a positive attitude and enthusiastic energy to her work.

Lori Lazar began her career with Rice’s in 2002, with what she saw as a great opportunity for growth potential. She loves that everyday there is something different to do and a new problem to solve! Lori’s day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing all the financial aspects of this organization. She has an associate degree from Wooster Business College in Accounting and Business Administration, as well as 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and private sector corporations.
