A client asked us to redesign his lakefront landscape and tie in his paver driveway. However, there was one significant challenge that we faced: space. The tight lot size left very little room for truck access and parking. There was even tighter access once we reached the backyard. The existing paver driveway and rear patio looked tired. We determined the patio needed to be enlarged and access was needed to get to the boat dock.
A unique, linear paver was selected in a color blend that worked well with the home’s colors and materials. Additionally, a heating system was installed under the driveway and main entrance to eliminate the need for shoveling and laying deicing salts. The linear paver draws guests into the site and back to the lake front. A unique fire table was nestled into the landscape between the patio and the water’s edge. We finished off the project with simple, low-maintenance plantings and color-changing LED landscape lighting to create a fun atmosphere that our client enjoys with friends and family.
